Luggage and bags: If you come to Ecuador you will need light bags, prefarable Back Pack. Ecuador as many places to see so you will have to do some traveling, and the best way to do that would be with a light bag or backpack
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If your planing to stay to the cost, bring warm clothes, but if want to do Andeas also, you must bring close for temperature as low as 2 degree.
Comfortable walking shoes are recomended. Check the raining season before you come, you might need an umbrella.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring sun screen, the sun over here is very dangerous, mosquito lotion.
Imodiom(diaharea), pepto bismol are good and handy.
Photo Equipment: Battery are fairly cheap, but you better come with lots of films, does are a litle expensive here.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: A towel is always a good idea to carry one.
