You're walking along minding your own business in Istanbul. Next thing a chap hurries past you and drops a brush. He's carrying shoeshine gear so you figure on doing the poor guy a good turn. PLEASE DO NO SUCH THING!!! KEEP GOING AND KEEP ON MINDING YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!! Because when you stop and return his brush he'll be soooo grateful he'll insist on giving you a FREE shoeshine. Halfway through it he'll start insisting on money (at a wildly exhorbitant price) and you won't feel too good about refusing him because by then some of his mates will have appeared around you. Remember: KEEP WALKING!!!
