by realzelda

There is an open, airy feeling at all of them, and one of them has Salvador Dali posters. While staying in Quito you have to go eat a la Choza. There you will find tipycal plates from the region. Empanadas de morocho, llapingachos (potato pies), you can drink chicha. Then you can drive to Ambato, a town a few hours from Quito, where you find a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and you must eat CHUGCHUCARAS.If you are in the coast you cannot leave before trying ceviche, or caldo de patas. Empanadas de morocho.

The food is delicious, the ambience is chill. Its a great place to go. Order the almuerzos: lunch menu. Its usually about 3 dollars and comes with soup, entree, desert, and drink. Can't beat that!
