For a vacation on the island I have 2 different recommendations:
1st - the ROUGH way :
No charges at all !
Unique Qualities: ...mosquitos, spiders, sharks at your disposal ! - all inclusive !
Directly on the island, take Papillon's cell or any other - it's your choice...
NO reservations needed - plenty of vacancies all over the year...
BUT : NO roomservice & bring your own towels... Leave a Comment

2nd - The SOFT way :
Ask your travel-agent...
Unique Qualities: maybe some sharks around the ship - but THEY risk to be found on the ship's menu tomorrow...
Directions: M/S VISTAFJORD, anchored somewhere around the island...
Other Contact: Better get a reservation !

At many places of the island you may still see the poor houses and barracks, where the prisoners had to live. Leave a Comment

Cruiseships will go there during the time of relatively low temperatures...

Do not expect great beaches and possibilties to swim...
A certain number of sharks will be in the bay and waiting for victims.
