Located right by the river, this restaurant is famous even in Cayenne!
The food is good, there Planteur wonderful (drink made of tropical fruit juice and rhum) is delicious (the best I had in Guyana!), the people very nice and hasty!

You need to book to have dinner, but it could be a good idea to book, even for lunch!

Favorite Dish: If they have some "cochon bois" go for it! It is a "wild piglet" that lives in the jungle. It's flesh is very tender, and it is served in a tasty spicy (but not spicy hot) sauce.
Ther "pimentade" of fish was also divine (pimentade is a sauce, but ot spicy hot)

In this small shop you'll find everything that you'll want, the perfect present for your in-laws, your god-mother and your best friend!
A wide variety of all the different local art, and a large price range.
