The featured picture is the City Hall located in Georgetown. It has an almost Disneyesque quality to it, reminded me of the <b.MAGIC KINGDOM with the tall tower and almost castle like appearance.The country of Guyana was first visited on a cruise ship in early 1997. We went there during the dead of Winter in Canada, flying to Montreal, then taking a VIA RAIL excursion back through Ottawa and Toronto, disembarking in Ottawa for a few days so that we could go on a tour of Ottawa, in the snow, on the Canal and all the usual neat things you do when the weather is as cold as it gets.
