Have you ever been gone to the CHACO in Paraguay? Not? Have you never heard about dove shooting? I must say, not everyone wants to do that, it depends on the type of person. But the fact is: the people who come to us and who want to live that adeventure, that thrill, and that great experience of life, they come every year again! Most of our guests are americans. and every year more american come. Dove shooting is something which cannot do anywhere, but in the CHACO the camp is great and thousands, yes, millions of doves fly over the fields.Gigantic!
You can chosse the time who many days you want to stay there. Actually we are used to orgainize it in groups. In the CHACO you get the best comfort in your hotel. A very good service. During the day you are on this fild, dove shooting time, in the evening sharing with each other a delicious dinner by a glass of wine or what ever you want. This is something for the real nature friends!

The street venders seemed honest; honest enough, in fact, to tell me it was a fake Rolex....lol..and the Louie Vaton hand bag, fake too...needless to say i did not buy, but you will be hustled at every corner..just say "no, gracias" and keep walking once you let one talk to you there are 20 more waiting for you....the people with stands or displays you dont have to worry about.
Fun Alternatives: Be careful in Cinudad del Este. You can get just about anything you want and the prices are just like USA prices, but even at the stores, the items may not be real. I did buy a couple nike shirts and a pair of shoes 120 USD a charger for the camera 45 USD. The prices for food and services are higher too, then in other parts of the country.

It is difficult for Paraguay to have a tourist trap when the country is such an out of the way tourist destination. And in reality the infrastructure is very basic for tourists. I would have to say that the tourist trap in this country is either people overlooking what the country has to offer and becoming frustrated with the lack of information and help available to tourists.
