La Estacion and The Pub across the road
La Estacion is a great nightspot if you like to dance, drink, meet the locals and love Spanish and Brazilian music.
The pub across the road from La Estacion is owned and run by Paraguayan Australians. The Wood family own and run the pub and is very like any pub/ night spot you would find in Sydney so it's a good place to go if you are missing home or if you are just interested in finding out what the hell are Australians doing living in Encarnacion (and yes both Willy and Warren still have their Aussie accents)
Basically if you go out in Paraguay remember that people do not go out dancing until after midnight, sometimes not until 2am. So if you want to have a good time, mix with lots of locals and dance like crazy (by God they can dance) then stay at a Pub until about the witching hour before making a move to go boogey.
