Shopping del Sol: Books in English

After 2 months in Asuncion, I have found only 2 places to find books in english. The bookstores in 2 of the larger malls, Shopping Del Sol and Mariscal Lopez, carry some selction of english titles. Expect to pay more than the north american price (around 100,000 guaranis-$20 US for a paperback). My best advice: if you are a reader, and prefer to read in english, make sure you bring books with you!

Recova Neighborhood: Leather

Somewhat close to the port area, lies the Recova neighborhood where a multitude of leather goods and other crafts can be found at incredible prices. Most of them are rough and picturesque in nature. I personally love them. just to have 'one' on your way to your hotel, home..get to know the locals a bit, maybe have a wee snack. cheaper as you think and you might have a lovely expirience for free

VOILA LA BETE....Le zebu est plus grand qu une vache.ca se balede en pleine ville ici au paraguay.... on est pas dans un village mais bien a Conception, la seconde ville du pays!
