  • Yeah, that's right. There's an Irish bar in Chivay, Peru. This small place is a fine place to grab a beer, if you're up for drinking at this altitude. This place with a pool table for free use and a small TV was quiet on the Wednesday night I was there. There is a happy hour from 6:30-7:30 and 9:30-10:30 every evening offering 2 drinks for S/. 8, including beer, rum, pisco sour, gin, vodka, etc.

    No dress code.

    Mc Elroy is an Irish pub in Chivay. As any irish pub it's not the cheapest place to drink but very cozy. There is a pool table.
    Beware of drinking on this altitude it might hit you a bit faster then normal, it's worth trying though.
