    Cathedral Exterior

by grandmaR Updated Oct 23, 2015

    2 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: The cathedral façade is a very bright almost orange yellow with white accents. There are two domed bell towers and there is a sculpture of Christ above the main entrance. I understand that it is illuminated at night, but we did not get to see that.

    Translate the Signs

by grandmaR Updated Oct 15, 2015

Favorite thing: Of course in Peru, all the signs are in Spanish. I suppose it is an indication of how few people from North America visit that there are no translations into English on these signs or plaques on the sides of buildings. Some of them I can almost figure out what they say. Some I have to use Google translate on them.

Favorite thing: The people of Peru are good. But the country does have some problems. Make friends with the cops because if the cops are not on your side, then no one in Peru is on your side!! Have a great vacation!!!!
