This small but interesting museum is located near the main entrance, the visit of the museum is included in the entrance fee. The building was inspired in the traditional architecture of the old Lambayeque chapels.

During my visit we had the company of this friendly guide (a Peruvian hairless dog), it was walking with us the whole morning.

This is a good place to see the inmense size of the city. The hill is located in the middle of the site.

There are some restauration works in the site, but due to the adobe construction of the pyramids, most of them are in a bad condition.

This huge pyramid is the largest and longest of the site, and is one of the biggest pyramid´s of the world.

Túcume was a big city, here one can see almost 30 pyramids, some of them in very bad shape, they were built of adobe, and the whole city is crumbling down. But it´s a good place to imagine the opulence of the Lambayeque civilization. Túcume was his last capital and they began to built the city in the X century.
