The exhibition hall

Fondest memory: In this exhibition is the tema "water" and its importance for man, animals and plants. It is ment to make the consiousness about water and environment pollution better.
In river Rimac - which serves Lima with drinking water - there is a campaign to clean up the river and make it a better source, and to protect it from getting polluted.

Favorite thing: In the zoo there is a bird house. A sign says that you must not make noise!
As the birds can´t read, there is very obstreperous (yes, I had to look it up, me too).
Just make a short visit here, so you don´t damage your hearing. There are red birds, green birds and all kind of other birds.

Real Penguins

Favorite thing: This is penguins, they usually live on snow and ice and will also show up on some boooks :-)
Now I just found something wrong in this picture. This is an Inuite building (Eskimo). Penguins live in Antarctic where there are no Eskimos, and I suppose no Eskimo houses either. (Eskimos live at Arctic [North Pole] where there are no penguins, just ice bears)
But on the other hand, this building is made of concrete and quite a cosy home for the birds, so I am sure they like it!
