Bandurria (Theristicus melanopis) is a bird, which before was living crowded on this area. But nowaday they have moved to Chile.
But Bandurria is a newly found archeological site close to Huacho.

This is not only a restaurant, there is a zoo, conference place and apartementos. In the zoo there are penquins, peacocks, monkeys, etc.
Favorite Dish: The pisco sour is good, beer costs 5 soles, tamales 4 soles. The whole menu you may have at 15 soles.

This is a bakery, but not only that. They make also different kind of patees and sausages, specially the famous sausage of Huacho.

In 1970, there was a big earth-quake, and for instance the church of Huancha was destroyed. Afterwards they have built a new modern church on the main square.
