    most people stay in miraflores and not the centro lima since it's so hectic there. there are many restaurants, several parks, places to shop.

    this is where everyone goes in Lima, especially those in miraflores. it's an outdoor mall hanging on the cliff looking down on the ocean. there are many gringos, but locals come here too. there are many restaurants, shops (expensive), fast food, bars, etc. there are many guards there since there are so many foreigners who spend time there, so it is safe. and they will help you find whatever you need which was nice.
