Most nightlife can be found in the districts of Miraflores, Barranco, San Miguel, San Isidro and downtown. In Miraflores there are plenty of nightclubs and bars especially around the Larcomar shopping centre. If visiting Lima try and see a show with traditional dancers. (Penas folcloricas). Bar O - Francisco de Camino - Miraflores Posada Del Angel - San Martin Barranco El Bobo Bar - Manuel Bonilla - Miraflores La Noche- Bolognesi - Barranco Murphy's Pub - Miraflores

It is a nice and safe place outside of Lima and it is always growded on the weekends.They usually have a live band - we saw Lenny Kravitz a few times :)It was two blocks from the center away where I was working - in Santa Clara - close to the Plaza de Armas.Believe me that place is much safer then a lot of places in Lima itself - the only thing I don´t know is how it would be to get there - in Taxi or something. but I never had any bad experience myself the four months I was there.
just leave your bermudashorts at home - other then that there was all kind of fashion shown there...
