There are some big caymans in the lake. I did only see the small ones. When going out with a canoe in the eventing, the caymans are easy to detect using a torch, the caymans will give light up like cat eyes. Mostly they are lying near the water bank under the trees.

Your guide will tell you where the spider is. They seem to always appear at the same place, near their nest/hiding place.

We were down at the colibri sugar "feeding" when two monkeys came walking above us in the trees. Distance 20-30 m I guess. Photo is taken with an ordinary compact camera. I know where one of the monkey is so I have done a circle in the picture. The left leg and his back is visible, head is hidden by some leaf(?)
Maybe you will have better luck!

These fishing birds do like to sit in the sun to dry their fethers. Someone told me they have to do that as they do lack the grass gland. I have to check that up ...

Many of these hens were sitting in the trees near the lake. The do not fly so good as they are rather heavy.

I suggest you use a mosquito net when being in bed.
At early night, there is also the bar to visit ...(Do not walk away from the lodge at night time, as there might be worms in the grass.)
