by Luis_Alberto

Although Perú, is not well known for tropical beaches and warm sea water, there's an exception, north of the country, about 1,100 to 1,200 kms from Lima. In this area you will encounter 300 kms of warm water and surf all year round, and beautiful unspoiled beaches which are a delight, from Mancora to the Ecuatorian border. Here is a picture of Mancora beach to warm your senses. This area is still quite unspoiled by big hotels or condominiums, which usually brings lots of tourist and traffic, eventually there are big plans to develop this area, so for now, enjoy a little vacation in paradise. In other words, this is not a 'Tourist trap' at all.
