Not so much of a nightlife tip, as an early morning tip. It is really worth getting up early to watch the sun rise of the lake. There are benches to sit on, and tea and coffee was available to help us wake up!The sun starts rising at around 6 am, and by 6.30, the sky is full of yellowy-orbage clouds before the sun burst through the cover and begins to heat up the air.
Brownsberg Trails: Nocturnal Walks
by grets
We were told the nocturnal walk to a look-out point (in the dark?) would take about 15 minutes. 1 1/2 hour later we were still walking! The main reason for this was that we stopped to observe all the nocturnal creatures we saw on route, such as insects and frogs. The paths is lit by lamps for the first strecth, and many insects are attracted to the light. One of the things I love most about trekking through the forest in the dark, is the fire flies!
