This is how you will often see the Javanese people (originally from Indonesia) in Suriname dressed.
There is a lot to see all over town, however it's a poor country and most buildings are made of wood. You can clearly see the paint coming off. It's really too bad.
Be relaxed. Due to the weather everyone/thing seems to slow down a little bit. Have some patience and don't get too hurried. The people of Suriname don't live a hasty life.
