Broki is an unique café with a big terrace at the Surinam River. There's a big wooden bar, pooltables, hammocks, even a bed!-Every fridaynight there's karaoke night, the come together of a lot of dutch students working in Surinam.-Also theme parties every now and then -Salsa danceclasses on the first floor (also lot of dutch students)-You can also eat here (no specteculaire menu ->french fries and hamburgers)Nice place to chill out! casual

Zsa Zsa Zsu: discotheque Zsa Zsa Zsu

by Valeggua

Zsa Zsa Zsu has 2 dancing areas: 1.The main hall with all sorts of club music, 2. And the other dance area with caribbean, latin and soul music. In the main hall there's a lounge area upstairs, and Zsa Zsa Zsu also has a sportsbar/restaurant where you can eat or have some good cocktails.I loved to party in Zsa Zsa Zsu!Entrance: 12,50 SRD (+/- US 4,-) There's blacklight... white?

Krasnopolsky: Quality time at the Casinos

by simbac2001

You wouldn't regret spending the evening at Krasnopolsky whilst enjoying chat with friends and listening to some quality music. When I return to Suriname there are many more places I would like to visit such as the Ambassador Club.I spent more time going site seeing with my daughter which I have enjoyed rather than the nightlife stuff.I must admit that Suriname is a beautiful, safe and clean place for anyone desirous of visiting in the near future not forgeting the Surinamese courteous and friendly what else can I expect!

The Zeppelin: Dancing the night away

by duke0123

One of the places to party is the disco The Zeppelin. When it's eleven/twelve o'clock people are going to this disco to dance and have fun. This takes all night long.Special was that we (five) were the only 'white' people in this disco. There is no dress code for this disco.

by carnaval2002

Check out Touche, Millenium (midweek especially) and Energy. The music and the way the dj's mix. In a lot of countries I've visited the dj plays only one kind of music the whole night. Not in Surinam with a lot of different people. Everybody has to enjoy so they mix the genre during the night. For instance they play some 7 or 8 romantic ballads followed by bubbling (dancehall) followed by salsa/merengue followed by house and then again the soul ballads. This goes on the whole night and is really unique. Everything but usually no sneakers or shorts (except for those special parties they sometimes have).
