Besides swimming, kayaking, fishing, surfing, hiking, you can do other beach activities, like playing beach-voley or beach-soccer (there are special places at the beach to do so), or playing tejo (I do not know how to say this in English; it is a kind of game of quoits), which I find extremely boring, but a lot of people play it. And this summer, we discovered another interesting beach activity: find how many people was reading the DaVinci Code.
Además de nadar, andar en kayak, pescar, surfear, caminar, puedes hacer otras actividades en la playa, como jugar al beach-voley o al fútbol-playa (hay lugares especiales en las playas destinados para ello), o jugar al tejo, que yo encuentro sumamente aburrido, pero un montón de gente lo practica. Y este verano descubrimos otra interesante actividad playera: encontrar cuánta gente estaba leyendo el Código DaVinci.

River Plate is not the perfect place for surfing, but some beaches and points have good waves, and there you can see people surfing (or, at least, trying to!)
El Río de la Plata no es el lugar perfecto para surfear, pero algunas playas y puntas tienen buenas olas, y allí puedes ver gente surfeando (o, al menos, intentando!)

Along Costa de Oro there are several fishing points (by the estuary or by the rivers); you can fish standing (or sitting!!!) on a beach with your rod, or sailing a fishing boat.
What to fish?
White croaker, jewshap drummer, black drum, pejerrey, some seaweed...
A lo largo de la Costa de Oro hay numerosos pesqueros (sobre el estuario o sobre los ríos); puedes pescar parado (¡o sentado!!!) en la playa con tu caña, o embarcado en un bote pesquero.
¿Qué se pesca?
Corvina, burriqueta, corvina negra, pejerrey, algunas algas...
Equipment: Er... a rod?
