This view is just a short walk off the Rambla but its a view I enjoyed. From here you can look across the bays

This building reminds me of something from a fairy tale but I suppose walking in this city is like visiting some magical land.There are unusual buildings and monuments everywhere.

Fishing is a huge pass time in Uruguay, you can see people fishing along the rambla, this picture was taken near Buceo.

A sight worth visiting is the Light House in Punta Carrettas, from here you can look back at the city or simply gaze at the bays up ahead.

You cannot visit Montevideo without taking a walk along the Rambla. If you are fit and like walking you can walk from the Port to Carrasco its 22kilometers of breath taking beauty.
