    One of the best things to do is walk the rambla alongside the Rio de la Plata.-
    All along the coast you can find modern buildings and luxius mansions dating several decades ago.-

    If you walk east from the Plaza de Cagancha you will find many shops and resteraunts. If you walk about two blocks you will get to the Plaza Constitucion.

    Almost only within the city center?
    What about Prado, the beaches, Palacio Legislativo, Parque Batlle with Estadio Centenario, Cerro, ...
    And for me the number ONE in Montevideo is the Feria Tristán Narvaja (market on the Tristán Narvaja street) every sunday of the year.
