Isla El Gran Roque Things to Do

  • Gran Roque

Los Roques is composed of many islets, but the biggest and most populated of them is Gran Roque. This island is where you will find most of the lodging sites, restaurants and transportation to other places nearby. Even being the biggest and "most crowded", it is a very small, simple village, with local houses, little markets and the "airport" =)The...

Isla El Gran Roque Tourist Traps

  • Not for a small budget

Very expensive, these islands, if you want a nice room you have to pay 60 Dollars per person (only with fan) , otherwise you have to sleep in a hot dark room. The prices are risen 2-3 times since 2004 but not the service level. We felt the habitants are a bit unfriendly and halfhearted. It seems the locals can make enough money, so it doesnt matter...
