    Choroni Map

Favorite thing: Here you have a small map of Choroni and Puerto Colombia with the different beaches that you can visit. The most popular are playa grande (you can go walking) and cepe and chuao. For all the beach you have to take a boat (peñero) that will take you and pick up

    Fondest memory: Their Beaches

    The Malecon at night

by joernme Written Nov 26, 2003

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: As nightlife is somewhat limited in Choroni we found it a good idea to bring a bottle of Cacique, Venezuelas most famous, definitely not best, but fair price/value rum and give the local cigars a chance. The rum was good, the cigar not so much. You have a good chance sitting there and talking and listen to the waves, that some crazy people approach you and try out some conversation - sometimes funny, sometimes nice and sometimes tiring. A great place for some good talks anyway.

    Crack that nut

by joernme Written Nov 26, 2003

    4 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: You don't need to bring your lunch to the beach. Just bring a strong knife and some patience. We just lived of coconut and coconut milk during the day. The nuts are just lying in the palmtree woods just behind the beach. Become a cracking crack if you are not already - the perfect training grounds....
