During weekends and holidays at night, you will find drum in Choroni and Puerto Colombia that cheer up the evenings with their native music. You can dance and have fun!!!!!!!

The typical drums from Venezuela it dances in a circle and a men go in the center with a women dancing at the sound of the drums, after if a women or a men wants to enter he/she have to try to clear the position trying to interfere with the dance until it removes the person from the dance and she enter. The pairs are not touched while they dance

Dress Code: You not need any drees code, you can go in bikini shorts. How you like to wear

    At "el malecon": The Drums

by Jacana Written May 30, 2004

At night everyone gathers at the malecon (or waterfront) where the locals play their drums. It's amazing to watch how the Choroni women move their hips, I can't do it (hardly anyone can move like they do). But it doesn't matter, everyone dances, drinks guarapita and simply enjoys the moment!

Dress Code: No dress code, just wear something that will allow you to move to the beat of the drums.
