Luggage and bags: Best to only take a small back pack or overnight bag, large back packs or suitcases definately will not fir in the canoe.

Water proof plastic bag for camera hiking boots and things you need while on the boat

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Light rain gear, plastic poncho or water proof jacket - it is hot so dont take anything heavy
Sandles (light shoes suitable for wallking in water and getting wet)
Hiking boots or sneakers/ socks
A light sweater
Change of clothes or PJs for overnight

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Mosquito repellent
sunscreen
toothpaste/brush

Photo Equipment: Camera with charged batterys
Water proof case or bag

a much needed jumper

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: bring a sweater for the evening... at night the forest gets very chilly... I never thought I would need the sweater I had brought to use on the Andes not needed over there). And don't wear sandals - in case a 24 hours ant decides to take a liking to your feet (see warning and dangers tip)

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: bring all you think you may need... there's nothing like a pharmacy out there. and some strong mosquito repellent

A: Hi, I can't really say what kind of weather would be in January, but it is a dry season which is not so recomendable for visiting Angel Falls in Canima, yet it depends...
