This place is ideal for evening walk. There are few restaurants available in front of this walking place. We were there on Easter and sand sculpture competition was going on,that was quite good.People were not professional but they were not bad.
This place is in downtown and day time its safe as it was started getting dark some locals said its not safe to stay here at this place after dark. This kind of warning was given to us all over in south america.Locals say day time is safe to roam around but after dark u have to avoid roaming around or even u are so desperate then pls take some company with u.That may save u but no gaurantee for ur safety.
There is lot of good things to talk about.

The Embarcadero provides a good place to watch the freighters without getting too close. These vessels bring the consumer goods into Venezuela and take away the cocoa, coffee beans, and other products that Venezuela produces. Some oil is shipped from here, but most of shipped from Maracaibo (see tips for Maracaibo).

Puerto Cabello is a good place to shoot pictures of old buildings painted in bright colors. The old homes are interesting in a variety of ways, and there are a few good bars and restaurants to consider. I like it here best either at sunrise or sunset. These photos were taken at dusk.
