Located just 12 minutes' stroll from Strathspey Steam Railway Railroad Company, Aviemore Youth hostel offers Wi-Fi in public areas and parking. Guests can benefit from a shared lounge and a garden terrace onsite, or take a walk to River Spey, which is approximately 100 feet away.

Rooms

Some of the spacious rooms also have an electric kettle and a coffeemaker for self-catering, along with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels for a more enjoyable stay. The hostel also features well-equipped rooms with a sitting area and a kitchenette area and views over the inner courtyard. Also, the presence of bath sheets and towels in the bathrooms ensures a comfortable stay.

The area offers many opportunities for outdoor activities, including mountain biking, hiking, and horse riding.

Location

The hostel is located close to Cairngorm Mountains, and around 10 minutes by car from Loch an Eilein. In addition, Craigellachie National Nature Reserve can be found a few minutes' drive from the Aviemore hostel.

Eat

For dinner, guests have the option of dining at Happy Haggis, located within walking distance of the Aviemore property, or at The Druie, situated about 5 minutes away by car. There is a kitchen area for guests to cook their own meals.

We loved the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The hotel was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed spotting bunnies hopping around the green outside. Parking was easy and the location was perfect for nature walks.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, ensuring we felt right at home. the communal areas were cozy and inviting, complete with sofas and a lovely fire where we could unwind after a day of exploring.
