Nirwana Resort Hotel: Yummy Themed Buffet In Nirwana Resort Hotel
The guests were given a welcome drink upon arrival and checking-in was a breezy affair. The staff checked us into a room which wasn't tidied up yet and immediately, we were given another room with apology.
The room was spacious and you can see the pool from the room.
Their themed buffet was very interesting and it's very delicious!
The gym was a little small, but the equipments were adequate.
The beach is awesome and the water is clear blue. You can even see some fishes swimming around you.

Nirwana Banyan Biru: Cosy environment
We had a stay in Nirwana's Banyan Biru villa stay, it had 2 bedrooms, double storey, with a toilet at each flr. Also equipped with a kitchen, and all the cutlerys and utensils are also provided. Only need to bring ur own ingredients and food to cook.
very cosy and serene environment.

Nirvana Hotel: Nirvana Hotel
I did not stay here but the "cottages" are really right on the beach. Ok they are about 6 feet from it but its about as close as I think you can get without an over the water hut. The grounds were very clean and the restuarant was very good and not pricey. The staff at the restuarant were very nice. The beach was clean and gorgeous. In short I wished I had stayed the night there.

Indra Maya Villas: Indra Maya Villas - give yourself a treat
My family has stayed at almost every resort in Bintan in the last few years. This is our weekend getaway place. Indra Maya ranks right there at the top. The kids love it for 2 things - its private pool and the electric buggy!
Individual villas with own pool, outdoor bath, sun deck, 2 or more rooms,
If you happen to be deciding between Banyan Tree versus Indra Maya, then I would say Indra Maya wins hands down. Banyan may have the brand-name, but the villas in Indra are much larger, the private pool is about 15 m long, not merely a soak pool.
A more accurate view is to classify Indra Maya as a Banyan Tree for families or friends.
At Indra Maya you have easy access to all the facilities located within the Nirwana Gardens multi-resort complex. That is because they provide each villa with its own means of transport - an electric buggy.
Food prices can range from reasonable to expensive within Nirwana. Bottom end is the coffee house at Mana Mana. Top prices are to be expected at the Thai restaurant and bar near Indra Maya. In all places, you can expect attentive service as Indonesians are warm and friendly people.

Mana-Mana Chalet: Simple and Nice
I find the Mana-Mana Cabanas to be cosy, simple and nice. Clean room with fridge, TV and a small wardrobe. The bathroom is clean with the necesary stuff, just that waterflow is slow. Air-conditioned plus a ceiling fan. For a cheap comfy stay - I recomend Mana-Mana.
The verandah - A nice place to chill and chat over a glass of cold drink, with the wind blowing to your face and a good place to dry your wet towels..etc
The Sundeck - Perfect for relaxing with a book
The Staff - Simply polite and nice, just think that they should employ more, the current ones are over-worked

Nirwana Gardens: Lower priced accomodation that's still comfortable
Dont' expect a fancy hotel but this is a reasonably price hotel that has adequate basic facilities. Rooms are not luxurious but are reasonably comfortable if you are not fussy.
It does not have as much recreational facilities or restaurants or activities compared to Bintan Lagoon. The infinity pool is quite nice though. The beach area is clean. I didn't like the food at the kelong restaurant... expensive and very mediocre.
My friends have tried the Indra Maya villas and those are supposed to be very nice with a pool.
