Central Location...Close to Asakusa Station

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on December 14, 2014

We book two different hotels in Tokyo, this hotel is also in the same area of Tokyo in Asakusa district. We went to Nikko for 2 day after checking out to our first hotel. This is cheaper than the previous one. But the room is somewhat smaller especially the bed

We choose this hotel of our last day in Tokyo because we have an early flight from Narita Airport.

Asakusa train station is just a short walk. The hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the hotel itself has a restaurant next to the reception office and offer a buffet style.

The semi double bed somehow small, depend how big you are. We are small people so it was enough for us ;-) . The bathroom is typical in each hotel in Japan (small). Japanese people are they small? typical of Asian people very cute so as their bathroom

Water kettle is available in room for tea and coffee maker. Free wifi connection in our room is an extra plus

There were two hotel clerk when we arrive, but the check- in time was only at 2 pm and we arrive around 12pm. Our room was not ready yet, so we left our luggage and stroll around the city for a while

We wander from the hotel without used of a metro everything is so close, which is easy to walk around. There was a market on a Sunday but this was very crowded. The location of the hotel is in excellent location

This hotel has change the name last summer in June 2014. It use to be the (Blue Wave Inn), no idea why they change a name.

The service of the hotel is really good, we have been welcoming by two front desk staff during check- in.

They have two types of room I think, bigger and standard room, our room was a standard cost $39 good enough for a night and for people with not much of luggage. We have one packpack and medium suitcase that's it

For traveler with two big suitcase you might need the bigger room

We're satified to our small room for a night stay, if we'll be here longer would take the bigger room. Everything is walkable around, plenty of restaurants next door

The restaurant downstair also serve breakfast buffet for 1080 yen. But we can't make it we have an early flight

A highly recommended place to stay in Asakusa district. Take the bigger room if you stay for more than two nights or if you have more than two luggage.
