Mudgee Homestead Guesthouse: Perfect location and hospitality

This is one of the nicest places I've ever seen. I wish I had stayed here -- but it was out of my price range. However, some of the family members of the wedding party were staying here, so we went out to visit and got to hang out.

Weekend Package (2 Nights): Aus $595 per room (Double); $495 per room (Single)

Package Includes: 2 nights’ accommodation, full breakfast daily, afternoon teas, and on Saturday evening, pre-dinner drinks and canapés followed by a three-course meal of elegant fare. In the evening, port, coffee and chocolates are served in the lounge.

Midweek (Per Night Rate): Aus $195 per room (Double); Aus $175 per room (Single)

Package Includes: Accommodation, afternoon tea, and full breakfast daily. Valid Sunday-Thursday.

There are only 6 rooms; each one opens out onto the large porch. What an amazing view!!! You can sit out there with your coffee or wine and look over the valley, the wineries, see kangaroos, etc. :)

There are 2 guest lounges, one with a fireplace, one with a billiards table and tv.

There's also a self-contained cottage with 2 bedrooms.
