FIRST EXPERIENCE

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on August 8, 2004

I was greeted by Lynn our friendly host when I arrived that afternoon. I was lucky to reserve a double room via internet before I left home since it was difficult to get a room in New Zealand during summer.

Our room located in a lovely garden in the back yard of the charming main building. It was a clean and comfortable and for NZ$48/night, it worth the money.

In the morning Lynn served a free home-made bread in the communal kitchen. There were also tea/coffee but we had to prepare by ourself.

It was my first experience stayed in hostel and I was glad I stayed in Vagabond.

Directions: It is just 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral Square, in a quiet neighborhood.
