BOUTIQUE HOTEL

by written on August 24, 2013

The Hotel Jalta is one of many located on Wenceslas Square, in the centre of Prague.

The building isn't that old as it was only built in 1958, it is the style that was interesting. It is classified as a UNESCO national cultural monument as it has an underground fallout shelter built during the communist era, statues standing above the entrance, and in the lobby, an original by Andy Warhol.
The Hotel Jalta is considered one of the most significant building's from this era.

The 5* Hotel, boast's 94 luxurious air-conditioned rooms with designer interiors and king-sized beds and with views over Wenceslas Square.

So So

Bad (2.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on October 24, 2006

We looked up Jalta on the net and had not booked it. From the airport we decided to take a try. Reached Jalta. Right in the center of town on Wecslav square. Sent my friend up to see the rooms, which we found to be extreemely ordinary without any views for the price of Euro 200 a night which we thought was outrageous. We ended up not staying.

Unique Quality: Right in the center of town

Directions: on Wecselav Square

Really good location, just a short walk away from the old town. Lots of restaurants and shops near by. Subway station is close by also. Nice/fresh breakfast, neat room. Service could have been better though (or would have expected more).
