Our 'room' had a huge patio and the most amazing view of the town and Mediterranean (as the picture points out). Though, there was a price to pay for the view when we had to 'hike' way up to get to our 'room'.

Ostello Cinque Terra: Ostello Cinque Terra
1.5 Euros to 'rent' a towel
This is the most organized hostel I've ever stayed in. You can charge Internet usage and meals to your room! The food is good and the staff is very helpful. The hostel is very new and has lots of nice touches. There are reading lights and coat hooks above every bed. The in-room lockers are actually large enough to put big backpacks in! It even has an elevator, which is nice when you are lugging a heavy pack around. A great hostel...

I never had to sleep in a hotel in portovenere... but I guess they're really expensive judging from the harbour fee... anyway the pic is january the second: in the summertime the harbour is so full that you can't even see the water!
