Good Location with a Seaview

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on November 23, 2015

Have stayed at this hotel twice as the location is excellent with good walking distance from the centre of the town plus it has a great view overlooking the English Channel. The first time we stayed here it was back in June and we were given a room on the first floor which it was small but we did had a great view. The second time we stayed here I have found a great offer on one of the websites for £80.00 with breakfast and dinner and we have been given a bigger room.

The room it was clean and the bed comfortable. We had breakfast on the floor overlooking the
Channel. The staff at the reception and the bar were helpful and gave us advice what we could do in Hythe but as we went specific to go and see the sound mirrors we didn't spend a lot of time in Hythe.

Good value on the seafront

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 10, 2006

The Stade Court is one of the two main traditional hotels in Hythe and is well located right on the seafront and within 5-10 minutes walk of the canal and the high street. It has a pleasant garden patio and a comfortable indoor lounge both of which overlook the seafront. The restaurant and bar are both open to the public and seem popular with the locals.

The room price was £49 including breakfast but I went through an agent and got it cheaper. Even at the higher price it is good value and I would definitely return.

Unique Quality: There are 42 en-suite rooms with those on the upper floor being split level with the bathroom and a small seating area upstairs looking out to the seafront.

Directions: At the bottom of Stade Street right on the seafront where West Parade meets Marine Parade
