We arrived in Esfahan to find our choice of accommodation, the Hash Behesht full, so after securing a room there for the next day, we went to a hotel just around the corner.

More of a business hotel, our room was plain, small, ad cost IR60000 (in 2011). The rate included breakfast.

Sadly our sleep was interrupted by the whooping of a car alarm in the wee small hours. The car alarm did stop for morning prayers, but restarted afterward, and was still wailing after we checked out at 9am!

Unique Quality: The most striking feature of the hotel is it's hilariously over the top decoration in the subterranean restaurant/breakfast room. Glittering ceiling, over the top arches and pillars and mirror tiles. Bizarre

Breakfast was quite acceptable.
