Modern and Plush Hotel

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 16, 2014

The Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel Montreal is a Four-Star, Four-Diamond all-suite boutique hotel we check-in. Our one bedroom suite has a modern, plush décor. The separate living area features a comfy couch and leather chair for relaxation, a cozy fireplace, a desk and HDTV. Along the hallway is a kitchen area adjacent to a small dinette table and chairs. Uniquely in the middle of the suite is the enclosed bedroom. Double sliding wood doors with large opaque panels allow for privacy. A luxurious king bed has crisp white linens and there’s even another HDTV. The spacious bathroom has a granite counter and large bathtub shower combination. Wow! The stylish room has a special charm with modern décor and excellent use of space creating a cozy home away from home. Located in the heart of historic Old Montreal, Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel is adjacent to Notre-Dame Basilica, steps away form the Old Port, galleries, museums, restaurants and shops.

We have a scrumptious continental breakfast of a variety of fresh fruits, assorted cheeses, and flakey French pastries in the relaxed Garden & Terrace Restaurant at Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel.

The hotel is excellent and in a great location on the edge of Old Montreal and adjacent to Notre-Dame Basilica and various restaurants and shops. The rooms are excellent, too.

Unique Quality: Garden & Terrace Restaurant for breakfast is very good. Rooms are spacious with a rich décor.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. The suite rooms have kitchenettes many rooms have balconies or fireplaces. Hotel and spa staff are top notch.

Skip the free breakfast and walk half a block to Claude Postel for mouth watering pastries.

If you want luxury this is the place.

Beautiful hotel in old montreal

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)

This hotel is located right behind the Notre-Dame. It is a charming 4 star hotel. My friends and I could never afford to stay at such a beautiful place however we were allowed to stay there for free. Starting off with the room the bathroom had a wonderful glass sink as well as a deep bathtub with a removalable showerhead. There was a kitchenette, complete with dishes, a coffee maker, a microwave, a stove-top, a refrigerator and a sink, as well as a living area with a couch and comfortable chairs. The windows are huge and look out onto a terrance where we could walk out to as well

The whole hotel was lovely. The lobby had a fire going constantly which was a nice place to wait for the others. The decor was warm and inviting. The staff had sure you felt extra welcome and would cater to your needs.

Montreal now offers some of the best little hotels in the world . The brand new hotels-boutiques in the Old Montreal are litterally incredible . The St-Paul , the Place D'armes , the St-sulpice , the Gault all offer a great confort in an historic environment .
The St-James is the most luxury hotel in Canada and it is a member of the Association of little hotels of the world .

For budget traveller, the Quartier Latin district offers the best deals for cheap inns and Bed and Breakfast. The Montreal international youth hostel located on Overdale street near Lucien L'allier metro station is absolutely wonderful with its 4 bed dorms and its bathroom in every room.
