Camping & Lodging on the Dalton Highway

There are three full-service facilities along the Dalton Highway that include hotels - Yukon River Crossing (Mile 56), Coldfoot (Mile 175), and Deadhorse (Mile 414). There is also lodging available in the town of Wiseman (Mile 189).

Camping is allowed in the following established areas:
Sixty-Mile site (Mile 60)
Arctic Circle (Mile 115)
Coldfoot (Mile 175 - fee charged)
Marion Creek (Mile 180 - fee charged)
Galbraith Lake (Mile 275)
Additionally, you can camp anywhere on BLM land - Mile 54 to Mile 300. Be careful that you camp sufficiently far from the road, and do not block the Alyeska Pipeline access roads.
