Most Affordable/Best Location In Sedona

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 22, 2008

I found out about the Star Motel doing much internet research and Trip Advisor.com. The owner Ann was very helpful with our accommodations/keys since we were arriving late and the office would be closed. Sedona is a very expensive place to stay and we just didn't need anything fancy (4 guys just done hiking the Grand Canyon). Ann was apologetic that she had to charge $80.00/night, the highest rates ever due to fuel cost and etc. Most places in Sedona go for twice that much! I had read good reviews and was not disappointed, the rooms were clean and had a microwave, fridge, safe and such. The location is within walking distance of the main drag with all the shops and such. Look out your window and see the beautiful red rocks of Sedona. Also the Cowboy Club is practically next door as is a carry out. If your going to Sedona, AZ stay at the Star Motel, you won't regret it for a second.
