Nelscott Manor: Romantic Stay In Lincoln City
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this quiet little inn. It is tucked back in a residential neighborhood on the edge Lincoln City. It is not really a hotel, its like a large beach house with several private entrances. You get a code when you book and just let yourself in. I think that there are 5 suites total, but when we stayed we only saw one other couple there. The room was decorated nicely, clean, and roomy. There was a queen sized bed, tv/dvd, fire place, 2 person jucuzzi tub, micorwave, mini fridge, coffee/teas, bath robes. The view is amazing. There is a little grassy yard overlooking the ocean where yo ucan BBQ if you want, or just check out the view. We would definately recommend this place to couples, and we hope to return sometimes soon.
My husband added the "romance package" as a little surprise. When we opened the door we found red roses, gormet chocolates, a bottle champagne, bath beads and rose petals beautifully displayed in our room. The best part was the view and the sound of the ocean waves all night long. There is a staircase that leads right down to the beach, where there are miles and miles of beautiful oregon coast to walk and explore. Rates really very depending on midweek or weekend and offseason/highseason ($139-209) for the room we were in (Manhatten Suite)
