Inexpensive and not too bad

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on February 19, 2006

For most of my time in Nashville I stayed at the Courtyard Opryland which is located about 1/2 mile from the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Conferece Center. It is really just your average, no-frills business hotel but they do have an indoor pool and an exercise room as well as wireless internet service. There is no restaurant here, but they do have a snack bar and serve a hot breakfast every morning. And you can get free coffee 24 hours a day. The rooms are as no-frills as the hotel is and they are pretty skimpy with the free toiletries, but I have to say that the beds are really, really comfy. They get big points for that. They also have a helpful staff and a shuttle bus that can take you to and from the airport and to and from the conference center for just $10 for the entire length of your stay. The rates here are also very reasonable, averaging $99 per night.
