Perfectly acceptable

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)

There's really nothing too special here. Just a nice, simple, plain, clean, safe hotel, with decent staff, and includes breakfast. You can't beat the price for the location, though.

I would stay here again. And recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the Barrio Norte area.

Unique Quality: Free breakfast, which seems to be the norm in Argentina.

Directions: Barrio Norte

Centrally located hotel in Ricoleta

I was getting a bit sick of the unfriendly staff at Ayacucho Palace Hotel, after having stayed there many many times. Asked sof 76 for recommendations and she sent me a list of which i chose Hotel Prince, mainly because of the area that i know so well.

Unique Quality: It is always nice to see a smiling face. More argentines are smiling these days because the economy is supposed to grow the fastest in the world only second to china! Good on you, mate Kirchener.
The rooms are very clean, the single room is adequate, reminded me of hotels in Tokyo..spotless and small but has a good shower and a small bath, television and comfortable bed. more importantly the price is an affordable 74 pesos, about 25 dollars and within walking distance to Cumana the lovely argentine folk restaurant. Thanks Sof76 for recommendation.

Directions: Avenida Santa Fe and Avenida Callao. it is only a blofk or two from that intersection. by subte, get off at station callao at cordoba or corrientes ( a long walk if you have luggage )

Great hotel, great location, great price

by written on June 14, 2004

This is a small hotel on a nice street in a nice central neighborhood (Barrio Norte), in a safe area, and with a great price. I did not actually stay here, but was walking by one day and it looked nice so we went inside to ask about it and it seemed really great and they were very friendly. We checked out a room to see how it was, and though basic, had all that you would need for a basic clean and safe hotel. I would certaily stay here if I didn't already live here! You could check their website to have a better idea....I don't have a picture!

Directions: Near Arenales and Montevideo in Barrio Norte, one block away from the shopping street Santa Fe
