Mokolodi Nature Reserve: A Wildlife Sanctuary

Mokolodi Nature Reserve, established in 1994, covers 30 sq.km and is located 12km south of Gaborone. It was founded to protect and conserve the region's wildlife.

The reserve is notable for its diverse ecosystems and numerous species, including elephants, zebras, rhinos, and over 300 bird species. It features a research facility, breeding center for endangered species, and a sanctuary for injured animals.
