Boulders Beach offers a unique opportunity to observe African penguins in their natural habitat. This sheltering inlet is home to approximately 3,000 penguins, thriving since its foundation in 1982, when only two breeding pairs were present.
The colony thrives within Table Mountain National Park, with wooden boardwalks tracing the shoreline, allowing visitors to experience these remarkable birds closely. The sandy cove is flanked by enormous boulders, providing a captivating landscape.
