This unfinished Mughal fort offers a glimpse into Dhaka's historical significance.
Construction began in 1677, initiated by Prince Mohammed Azam. Due to a series of unfortunate events, including the death of his daughter, the fort was never completed. However, three main structures were finished by 1684: the Mausoleum of Pari Bibi, the Diwan, or Hall of Audience, and the Quilla Mosque.
