This is a big restaurant and can accommodate for groups and parties. It has a sitting upstair but most tables are downstairs. This hotel and restaurant is very busy all the time there are many restaurants in Sihanoukville, but most people came to this place to dine
We staying at this hotel and so convenient place for dinner, they also have happy hour everynight as it is a restaurant is also known as pub in Sihanoukville. Inside you can enjoy to play a Pole, I think this is also a main plus for people coming here for drinks, the pole table
On their menu you can choose from burger, pasta and local food the choice is yours. From drinks you will overwhelmed by choices, from ordinary soft drinks, juices, cocktails and strong whisky. You must come here during happy hour from 5-7pm when all alcoholic drink is on half price
They serve food from early morning till late at night, the kitchen is open all day. Service is great and fast. Staffs are friendly and well good in English, prices are affordable depends on your choice. The portion isn't really big for the price, but there is always more in the menu if you want to choose a second dish

This simple hole-in-the-wall place on Weather Station Hill above Victory Beach has some of the best local curries in Cambodia.
A huge portion (enough for two) costs less than 2$.
2005 update : this place still exists, but no Khmer curries on the menu anymore, plenty of western and thai food though. The times have changed. It's still cheap, but with so many great dining opportunities on offer in Sihanoukville nowadays, i wouldn't recommend it anymore.

This is one of the better restaurants in Kampong Som. Not only is the food good, but the atmosphere is great as well. This open air restaurant with a large outdoor terrace has an excellent view of the ocean, islands off the coast of Cambodia, and the town.
Favorite Dish: Try the local fish.
We were looking for a nice place at the beach to have breakfast and we found Tranquility Guesthouse. It's a western owned guest house that also has a Restaurant / Beach Bar.
Favorite Dish: Our Breakfast was delicious and the view is just great.

Looking a place to eat in Sihanoukville is not a problem, there are dozen of restaurants. And for some of us it wasn't easy, so many choices. The street of Serendipity Beach Road is a long tourist streets of Sihanoukville and this is covered by restaurant and bars and some other establishment.
This restaurant is about 100 meters from our hotel, after seen the board outside I was curious. I went first inside and look what they have, because I see on the board (all you can eat) in buffet style.
It is a Cambodian barbecue which we never done before, so we're anxious to try. The lady outside was very friendly and welcoming. For $5.50 is really cheap except you have to prepare your own food. But this is all new for us, so worth to try actually
We took a table outside and one of the waiter brought a hot charcoal pot and the other waitress came with this round form thing with broth water. No idea how this really works, this is our first time. The lady who greeted us when we come-in, she came to our table and explained how to do it. (laughing)
Inside you have the buffet table, you have different meat and seafood. On the same table all different kinds of vegetable. Choice what you want. This is how it works, you can see a round form that is broth. You make a soup by putting your vegetables on it. Use the middle to grill your meat. It was good and delicious, our very first time Cambodian barbecue. Great experience and inexpensive

The closest beach where we staying is Serendipity Beach. This is apparently the backpackers area of Sihanoukville and the nicest place in the city. Serendipity is one of the liveliest place where the nightlife of Sihanoukville is located
During night time the beach area comes alive. If you walk here in the evening you will overwhelmed by restaurant and bars along the shore with a nice sitting on the beach. We have difficulties of choosing a spot, they are all nice. But at the end we choose this bar. It seems quieter than the others
All restaurant tables are placed on a sand, so do not wear high heels. You walk to a sand to get to your table, best to wear slipper or flat sandal for more comfy. The guys from Rocky bar were very friendly and welcoming. You sit in a comfy chair
It is a bar but also served foods, and they have many choices in the menu. I order a vegetable pasta which was really good. For those who's hungry the portion is not that big, it is cheap you can also order some side dish
As a bar they also have more choice of cocktails. The happy hour goes whole night, all alcoholic drinks are on half price. So stay for a while after dinner. While sitting here, you will be annoyed by different vendors. Most vendors are those young girls and they can be irritating and pushy. You're been warned

During our city tour, the second stopped we had is Otres Beach 2. This place is very nice, not too busy especially in the morning. The weather wasn't really nice that day, we have rain drops. So, we took the advantage of having a drink at Sam's Bar. A nice place, they also had bungalows for rent.
They have a few tables on the beach standing on sand. Looking to their menu book they have quite of choice. After seen that they have different kinds of pancake, I was curious to their banana flavoured pancake. And the coconut milk which are available almost everywhere
Sam's bar has a nice sitting right in front of the sea in a fine white sandy beach. Quiet place comparing to others
It didn't take long to have my pancake, it is indeed very delicious. The banana was grind and mix in a dough for flavor. The pancake was served with honey, which I didn't use. The taste of pancake was already sweet, the honey will probably give an extra taste but I didn't care, I just put it aside. Price is cheap, I was surprised being on the beach. Nice bar for dinner, too bad is a little out of town center

If you're a Barang (foreigner), you can be assured that a young girl (or boy-girl) will beg you to buy a pineapple on the beach. These kids can get VERY annoying, so sometimes it helps to buy the pineapple just to shut them up. They'll overcharge initially, but you can bargain down to 2000 riel ($0.50). They cut the pineapple right in front of you and to be honest, it's totally worth it -- the pineapple is perfectly sweet and ripe and makes for great refreshment.
While in Sihanoukville you simply have to try out a beach BBQ. I had one on Ochheuteal Beach where I had nine king prawns, fries, salad and a beer for under $10! Great stuff!
This small and friendly place is run by a French guy on Victory Hill. I came here a few times for breakfast where they do some great crepes, milk shakes and fruit juices.
