    The lofty and spectacular Yuejiang Tower on the Lion Mountain echoes such three famous buildings as Yellow Crane Tower, (you can read about it on my Wuhan Page), Yueyang Tower and Tengwang Tower at far distances, each displaying its distinguish splendor.
    It was initially proposed by Zhu Yuanzhang the first emperor of Ming dynasty and for six hundred years existed only on paper; it was constructed in actuality in modern times.
    Inside the tower there are different exhibitions.

    This impressive tower rises above the city wall right in its northwest corner. You can climb up it where the views are great over the city and the Yangzi River.
