I went for two days to Puskar with my family . There is not much to see except temples and holy lake.I think two days is enough to see Puskar.one day i spent to see temples, lake and for shopping and next day early morning We decided to climb up hill is known as Ratnagiri where houses the Goddess Savitri, the estranged wife of Brahma. It took about 45 minutes going there.main thing to experience here is the nature. From here you can see wonderful views of the surroundings, including the sand dunes of nearby villages and of the Pushkar Lake.
Its best place to visit early in the morning.in the way you can see lot of monkeys many different variety of birds. If you could go early then is good point to see sunrise.

Leaving by the north-east on the by-pass about 7 kms from Pushkar is old Pushkar. Nothing really much to see except a Hindu temple next to the lake and ghats. The lake is almost completely dry, leaving just the bathing pools in front of the ghats. In season though, the area is well known for the rose-farming.
Savitri & Gayatri - the two hills just outside the city - seem so close, so we decided we'll try & climb one for the great view from the Holy temple. But walking through the small streets, entering the desert & climbing the rocky hills isn't really as easy as one would think... And there was this kid who gave us the wrong direction - on purpose! :)
Nevertheless, we managed to see the temple from the bottom of the hill & we had so much fun on the way there. But we also got tired, so we spent the rest of the time in the Eye, eating, playing backgammon & chatting...
someof the buildings in the area have walls painted with themes from the epics.I saw a few modern themes too
